L09 Areas
Moveall lists 28 suburbs across Adelaide, grouped the way its own website groups them: Adelaide City, the northern, eastern, southern and western suburbs, the beaches and the Adelaide Hills. Moveall for Business plans office, commercial and business moves within and between all of them. This page lists every suburb and explains how the kind of building, more than the suburb, shapes the plan.

Adelaide City
City moves are about the building: loading docks, goods lifts booked in blocks, building managers’ rules and permitted move times. Rundle Mall is closed to vehicles from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 9:15 pm on Friday and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday, with permit loading outside those hours for businesses that have no other access point. Skips, containers and elevated platforms on council roads or footpaths need a City Works permit. All of this is on Adelaide CBD office moves.
Northern suburbs
Prospect, Walkerville, Mawson Lakes, Salisbury, Elizabeth, Paradise, Modbury, Golden Grove and Tea Tree Gully take in a wide mix of premises: offices above shops on main roads, standalone offices with their own car parks, business parks and shopping centres. Moves from the north into the city, or out of the city to the north, are planned with the city building’s rules at one end and street or car-park loading at the other.
Eastern suburbs
Norwood, Payneham, Magill, Campbelltown and Burnside have many professional offices and shops in older buildings and converted houses, on strips such as the Parade in Norwood. Older buildings often mean stairs, narrow doors and street loading, so measure the stairs and the largest pieces and put them in the brief.
Southern suburbs
Unley, Goodwood, Mitcham, Blackwood and Marion run from the inner south to the foothills. Inner-south offices are often on busy roads with limited parking at the door, and shopping-centre tenancies come with centre management’s booking rules. Wayville, where Moveall’s office is, sits just inside this part of the city.
Western suburbs and beaches
Glenelg, Brighton, Plympton, Henley Beach, West Lakes, Semaphore and Port Adelaide include beachside office buildings, shopping strips such as Jetty Road in Glenelg, and commercial and warehouse premises towards the port. Warehouse and stock moves here often suit curtain-siders for palletised side-load freight, one of the truck types Moveall for Business lists; see commercial removalists in Adelaide.
Adelaide Hills
Mount Barker is on Moveall’s list for the Hills, reached from the city up the South Eastern Freeway. A move between the city and the Hills is planned with the climb and the distance in mind, and the move window allows for both.

How the kind of premises changes the plan
| Premises | What the plan has to cover |
|---|---|
| City tower or managed building | Dock and goods lift bookings, permitted times, building manager’s paperwork |
| Office above shops | Stairs, street loading, narrow doors |
| Standalone office with parking | Truck access to the car park, a short path to the door |
| Business park or warehouse | Dock or roller door, pallets, forklift, curtain-sider access |
| Shopping centre tenancy | Centre management booking, service corridors, trading hours |
Whatever the suburb, the move itself runs the same way: an inventory, a coded floor plan, a written quote and a move window agreed before anything is booked. See office removalists in Adelaide for the full sequence, business relocation in Adelaide for moving premises, and corporate relocation in Adelaide for larger offices.
Moving between regions
Many business moves cross the city: a practice moving from the eastern suburbs into the CBD, a warehouse leaving the port for the north, an office moving from the city out to Mount Barker. Each end is planned on its own terms, and the distance between them sets how the trucks are scheduled across the move window. Tell us both addresses in the brief and we plan the route, the trucks and the stages to suit.
Beyond the list
For moves between Adelaide and other states, Moveall Interstate handles door-to-door interstate removals into and out of South Australia by road and rail freight. Moveall also names regional South Australia on its interstate page, including the Adelaide Hills, the Fleurieu Peninsula, Mount Gambier, Port Lincoln and Kangaroo Island. Ask when you send the brief.
